In-Line Inspection (ILI) and Material Grade Determination (MGD) for line 5 from Mombasa to Nairobi in Kenya. Line size & length is 20″ & nearly 450 km respectively. This pipeline is commissioned in 2018.

The pipeline is to be inspected by a high-resolution intelligent Magnetic leakage flux (MFL)/or High Resolution Ultra-Sonic Thickness Metal Loss (UTML) tool, ultrasonic crack detection (UTCD) tool, Geometry tool and Material Grade Determination tool for the inspection of the full circumferential extent of the pipeline.

The data collected by the various inspection procedures shall be analysed and detailed inspection finding reports generated and submitted to the Client through the project Engineer.
